English for Research and Thesis Writing is designed to prepare Master students to understand, use, and produce academic English required in research and dissertation writing in economics, finance, accounting, and management sciences.
This course focuses on Academic English as a specific variety of English used in academic and research contexts. It helps students master formal language, precise vocabulary, objective tone, and appropriate academic structures necessary for reading research articles, writing academic texts, and understanding the conventions of academic communication.
The course supports students in developing the linguistic and methodological tools needed for reading academic sources, evaluating research quality, and using academic English effectively in their future thesis and research work.
Prerequisites
Students must have successfully completed the lessons of S1, S2, S3, S4 and S5. They should have developed a strong understanding of the basic concepts related to their fields of expertise, namely, Economics, Trade, Accounting, Management, and Finance as well as improved their verbal communication skills.
Master 1 program consists of two semesters with 28 seminars, each seminar is 1h30 to prepare students for various professions in companies with a strong specialization in this field.
